Snippet Templates

Only Available when Groups feature is available, Snippet Templates are pre-written messages that can be used by Groups Message Contacts. You can save multiple Snippet Templates in Voxie to quickly use different types of messages and responses. Snippet Templates are useful for Corporate to share content downstream to Groups, and as Segment Templates you can define to which Groups these Snippets are going to be visible to.

Once Groups is enabled you can access it within your Corporate section, in Messaging > Snippet Templates once there, you’ll find a list your Snippet Templates

Create and Edit Snippet Templates

In order to Create a Snippet Template you can click on “New Template” and you’ll be presented with the following form:

Name

[Required]

The name will be the main way to identify Snippet Templates across the selected Groups, therefore, we recommend you to make them as meaningful as possible for your operation.

Description

[Optional]

Open Text Field, useful to add Metadata around each Snippet Template, it can be filled with data for disambiguation between similar Groups or described strategies for the given Group.

Characters	Description supports up to 2,000 characters

Snippet

When Building the Snippet Template you can access Variables and Media, and you’ll also be able to leverage Group Variables, to personalize Messages based on Groups Attributes

Group Access

As mentioned, this section allows Groups to either View and Use the defined Snippet Templates, and provides different ways to condition the access to Groups.

When Corporate user intends to target only a set of Groups that can leverage this Segment Template, the can do it in three different ways:

Use Filters: It allows corporate to Segment Groups by matching either the Group explicitly or the Groups Custom Attributes

Group has a custome attribute with Key and Value : In case you count with numerous Groups, it is smarter to segment Groups based on shared Group Custom Attributes, you can stack your conditions with AND operators to segment even further

Group : In this case you can explicitly declare which Groups can access this Segment Template

Choose a Collection: You can pick a Group Collections if you already have a predefine Groups set that you’ve been used for different purposes, please access the link in to understand how to create a Group Collection

All Groups: The simplest of Options when you are creating a Segment Template to be accessed by ALL Groups belonging to your account

Using Snippet Templates in Quick Blast from Groups Perspective

As you can appreciate, within each Group Quick Blast, Group Users (Administrators, Marketers and Blast) they can pick your available Snippets, the ones under Group, are the ones created by the Group itself, as any other Snippets, in case you’ve selected the 👑 Corporate Tab, you’ll find those snippets created by Corporate for you to use.
